Exclusive Privilege: A Harmonious Blend of Classic and Modern Living

Chun-Chiao Wu Crafts a Residence for the Discerning Business Elite

In the realm of residential design, the Exclusive Privilege project emerges as a paradigm of luxury living, tailored for high-income and retired individuals seeking a blend of classical elegance and modern sophistication.

The Exclusive Privilege model house, conceived by designer Chun-Chiao Wu, represents a new standard in healthy living environments. With a focus on optimal lighting and ventilation, the design team has transformed the conventional layout into a space that breathes wellness and comfort. The classical style foundation appeals to the target demographic, while the infusion of metal and linear elements injects a contemporary flair, catering to the refined tastes of business professionals and retirees alike.

At the heart of this residence is a club-like public area, designed with the social and professional needs of businesspeople in mind. The living, dining, and study spaces are conceived to facilitate both intimate family gatherings and business meetings, exuding an air of exclusivity and sophistication. The incorporation of minimalist linear lighting on the ceiling juxtaposes the classical aesthetic, creating a modern atmosphere through the interplay of horizontal and vertical lines.

The realization of this design is a testament to the meticulous selection of materials, including marble, iron, and linear lights, among others. These elements coalesce to form a grand space that resonates with the target audience of business elites, without compromising on the contemporary touch that lends the space its unique character. The design team's attention to detail is evident in the integration of classical trims and grilles with the modernity of linear lighting, enriching the space's layers and preserving its classical beauty.

Spanning an area of approximately 115.7 square meters, the Exclusive Privilege project comprises a thoughtful layout that includes a spacious foyer, an expansive living room, a dining area, a kitchen, a master bedroom, two secondary bedrooms, and a versatile study room. The design team's strategic focus on creating a generous public area aligns with the needs of businesspeople who require ample space for hosting and conducting business affairs within the comfort of their home.

Chun-Chiao Wu's design philosophy extends beyond aesthetics, considering the functional interaction between the residents and their environment. The design successfully marries the concepts of a 'healthy residence' and a 'business-friendly space,' culminating in an ambience that impresses potential owners at first sight. The project's completion in August 2020 in Taiwan stands as a testament to the design team's ability to craft spaces that not only meet but exceed client expectations.

The Exclusive Privilege residence is a masterful execution of design research, overcoming challenges such as maximizing storage in narrow bedrooms through concealed cabinets and achieving meticulous finishes with linear lighting fixtures. The design's success is further underscored by its recognition with the Iron A' Design Award in 2024, a testament to its well-designed, practical, and innovative nature that integrates industry best practices and contributes to a better world.
